Jersey Harbours has identified the need for expert assistance to upgrade its surveillance system and has called in SGW to help.

The CCTV system covering the main harbour in St Helier requires updating to ensure that adequate coverage and monitoring is provided to the commercial harbour and its operation together with the marina in which public vessels are located.

SGW has been approached to undertake a review of existing systems and equipment and to assess options for relocating the control room to establish enhancements that will ensure immediate continuity of operation and compatibility to existing police systems.  Based on this report, SGW will produce a formal technical performance specification for tender.
